Ila is TWO!

Ila had a very eventful birthday. First she had breakfast on the mall where she got to ride the carousel, pet some doggies, and go to the Discovery Museum. Later she had a little birthday party in the park next to our house and all the family and a few Cville friends came to celebrate. We can't believe our baby girl is two years old!

Ila's aunt Heather and her buddy wrote this song for Ila's birthday while driving across country. She received a dollhouse with some little furniture and people for her birthday,  hence the title. Heather also got Ila a Halloween notebook and an Elmo stamp. Classic Heather.  Ila definitely has an awesome auntie.

Farm Aminals!

On Labor Day we went to the Monty's (Tara and Andrew's) farm about 45 minutes from here. We got to see their pigs (which were ginormous!), the baby piglets, chickens, and cows. It was a fun, relaxing time with friends and it just may have been Ila's best day of her life so far. She reeeally liked the pigs and getting to feed the babies. The Mcfarlands (Catherine and Nate, or "Catanate" as Ila calls them) came too and we finished off the day with some time in their pool. Look at these funny aminals!

Baby Model?

So I've been making a lot of jewelry lately and Ila is always trying to get her hands on it. Yesterday I actually let her try some necklaces on and she was kind enough to model them for me. Doesn't she look like a little J.Crew baby model?
